Piano · Composer · Since 2004
Meysam Saleky has been teaching piano for more than two decades—from students taking their very first steps at the keyboard to those who have progressed to performing on stage. He holds a Master’s degree in Composition from the University of Art in Tehran and a Bachelor’s degree in Music from Soore University.Over the years, alongside piano, he has also taught solfège, music theory, organology, and ensemble performance. He has guided students from the fundamentals of music theory through to advanced studies in harmony and counterpoint. To him, teaching means guiding students toward a true understanding of the world of music—not simply repeating finger movements. This approach has helped his students achieve single- and double-digit ranks in the entrance examinations for the University of Art and the University of Tehran, as well as succeed in music-related events.“The Grey Week”—a piano score collection featuring thirteen pieces by Varoujan—grew out of his passion for preserving music in written form.
